Built by people
who've sat at the counter.
Neev was started by operators and engineers who spent years inside Indian distributors, dairy co-ops and retail businesses — the kind that do real revenue on WhatsApp, Excel and a finance person who knows where the bodies are buried. We're building the system we wished existed back then.
The next decade of Indian commerce will be run by operators who refuse to scale on Excel. We're building the floor under that decade.
Neev means foundation. The product is named for what every distributor we've ever met has improvised on their own — a structure underneath the day that holds when the volume grows, the team grows, and the questions get harder.
The values that shape every screen.
If a flourish slows down a scan, we kill it. The dashboard is built for someone reading it on the way to a meeting, not curating it.
Currency, counts, dates and IDs are the largest, sharpest, most contrasty things on screen. Decoration sits in the background where it belongs.
Indian commerce is human. Neev is friendly, plain-spoken and respectful of the operator’s time. No celebrations on a Tuesday morning.
₹2,50,000, not $3,000. DD/MM/YYYY. Monday-start calendar. HSN per line. We built for the country we live in.
A short, honest history.
Three years inside a Mumbai distributor doing ₹40 cr a year — entirely on WhatsApp and Excel. Half a finance team’s day spent reconciling things that shouldn’t need reconciling.
A working prototype, six pilot conversations, and the conviction that India needed a new operating layer for its growing businesses. Founded with a small team in Bangalore.
Twelve modules, one ledger, one customer record. WhatsApp parsing in Hindi, English and voice. e-Invoice IRN at line level. The MSME stack, built from scratch.
Eight distributors live. One dairy co-op piloting standing orders. Building toward a public beta with the businesses that taught us the shape of the problem.
The team you'll actually talk to.
Small enough that the people who design Neev are the people who answer your WhatsApp. We'll introduce ourselves properly closer to public launch.
We're hiring →Three ways, all of them work.
Come build the foundation with us.
Whether you're a distributor curious to pilot, an engineer who reads ledger code for fun, or a designer who loves a constrained palette — we'd love to hear from you.
